Obituary of Kenneth Christensen

Kenneth Lee Christensen  1949 - 2018. Born in Souix Falls, South Dakota, on January 1, 1949, a New Year's baby.  In 1955, at the age of 6, Ken moved to Santa Barbara CA with his family. He attended schools in Santa Barbara, and joined ROTC in high school. He later volunteered in the Marines for a short service. Ken became a jack-of-all-trades, as he understood machinery. He traveled the country, married in Georgia; returned to Santa Barbara, where he considered home. Ken always stayed in music, something he loved since youth, playing the guitar and the drums - usually with a group. Survivors include his mom-Corrine Christensen, sisters Sharon Junghandel, Janine Christensen, and brother Jerome Christensen. Ken passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 with mother Corrine, sister Sharon and brother-in-law Rich nearby.  His father, Earl Christensen predeceased him. He was loved very much, and we all will miss him. There was a private, quiet Memorial on March 30th.
