Obituary of Donald N Citarella

It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Donald N. Citarella, on September 16, 2021, from chronic kidney disease.   He was a beloved father and family member.

     Donald was born April 20, 1950, along with his twin brother Richard.  He was born in Queens, N.Y., to Dorothy M. and Anthony J. Citarella.

     Throughout his life, Donald was a free spirit.  In his early 30's, he met the love of his life, Teri Maulhardt,  in Santa Barbara, CA.  They married and welcomed their beautiful daughter, Tiffany Citarella.  Teri passed in September, 2000, from cervical cancer. 

     Donald had a passion for his Italian heritage.  He shared his love for the NY Yankees and NY Giants with his brother.  Though he spent half of his life, in CA, his love for NY teams never faltered.

     His love and presence will forever be cherished.  He was an amazing father, grandfather, son and brother to us all.  Life will not be the same without him.
