Obituary of Marjorie Coe Lehr

Marjorie Coe Lehr, 84, passed away on December 31st, 2012 at Cottage Hospital, Santa Barbara. She was surrounded by her family-son, Arthur W. Lehr and daughter-in-law, Joan Lehr of Pahoa HI, granddaughter, Jennifer Lehr of Clovis CA and grandson, Jesse A Lehr of Coarsegold CA. She is also survived by her brother Peter Coe of Henniker NH. Marjorie had 5 great grandchildren, Kamryn, Tyler, Taylor, Justin and Jordan. Marjorie was born in New York and was raised on Long Island. As a young woman, she worked at Jone’s Beach. After moving to Summerland, CA in 1956 she worked at and retired from general research at Toyon in Goleta, CA. She also lived in Morro Bay where she served as a volunteer with the police dept., and volunteered at Hearst Castle. Marjorie was an artist and loved playing Scrabble and cards. She will be missed dearly by all of those who knew and loved her. She was always a woman of style and open-mindedness. We love you.
