Obituary of Ursula Schiess

Passed away suddenly and peacefully into the hands of God and entered into heaven Oct. 2nd, 2012. Ursula was born Sept. 21st, 1923 in Steinheim Germany, immigrated first to Edmonton Alberta Canada in 1953 where she met and married her husband Jacob. They were married over 50 years. She and her husband and two children immigrated to California in 1962 where she raised her two children Alfred and Meera. She started and worked in her sewing shop as a seamstress for over 30 years. She was a wonderful, loving mother, a loving wife and caring grandmother. Ursula taught us all to love by showing love. She loved the Lord Our God with all her heart. She was a devout devotee of Sai Baba and was a member of the Sai Baba Ctr of Santa Barbara for over 30 years. She loved the people of India and made many trips to India to see Sai Baba. She always expressed the teachings she was learning. Service to mankind was the highest form of love. We will all miss her dearly but we know she is happy and doing service in the Lords kingdom now, a place she believed in with all her heart and soul.
