Obituary of Darlene Hubert

Darlene passed with grace on September 8, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, after a long valiant battle with cancer. Her sensitivity, insight, compassion, and sense of humor inspired everyone that knew her. She enjoyed working at Casa Dorinda, and Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital. She is deeply beloved and missed by her daughters, Chris, Jackie, son Steve, son-in-law Jeff, brother Donald, sister-in-law Shirleyann, and her dogs Blondie, Rosey and Scooty. The family is grateful to Visiting Nurses Hospice for their compassionate, loving care. There will be a memorial tea for her Sunday, Sept. 23, at 10:30 at Manning Park.
