Obituary of Reynard Sandoval

Reynard "Shorty" Sandoval He was born on July 4, 1931 and passed away on November 14, 2011. He was born and raised in Santa Barbara. He was predeceased by his parents Emilio and Eulalia, his 2 brothers Robert and Jack, and his Step-Son Robert Lara. He leaves his loyal and devoted wife of 50 years, Margaret R. Sandoval, his children Richard Sandoval, Rebecca Fulton (John), Reynard and Michael Sandoval, Susan Kraus, and Step-Daughter Linda Dunn. He also leaves his trusted friend Huero, the killer dog. He leaves 10 Grandchildren, Frank, Lana, Marissa, Myranda, Brandon, Rachel, William, Amanda, Joey and Katie. He has many Great Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a great Husband and provider, and was always willing to help his family. He was known by Shorty to many friends and acquaintances. He was a Jack of all Trades, and Master Heavy Equipment Operator. He retired from the City of Santa Barbara, Public Works Department where he worked for over 30 years. He loved walking Huero on the beach every morning where he would meet and talk to many people. We'll miss you! A Rosary will be held on Friday, November 18th , 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sola and Anacapa Streets. A Mass will be on Saturday, November 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Foundation or your favorite charity.
