Obituary of Linda P. Herington

Linda Pauline Herington, 60, died on her birthday October 20, 2011 at home in Santa Barbara after a brief illness. Linda (Linny) Herington was born on October 20, 1951 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Her passion was dance, she admired Isadora Duncan and loved modern dance. Her recent community contributions included teaching dance to young children. She also worked with the blind teaching pottery and helping with dance and swimming. The memorial was held at one of Linda’s favorite places, her brother Don’s home in Carmel, on 10/22/11 with a gathering of family and friends. Linda is survived by her father Donald Herington and brothers Don Herington and Thomas Herington and predeceased by her mother Penny Herington. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Casa Serena,1515 Bath Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. Arrangements entrusted to McDermott-Crockett Mortuary.
