Obituary of Alice Maxine Savage
Alice Maxine Savage (nee Cavender) lived with beauty in her heart and a zest for relationships. She sowed her love in to life as a humanitarian activist. After co-founding, "Save Our Coastline," Palos Verdes Peninsula was incorporated to protect the environment and safeguard a vibrant local community. Her appreciation for life extended to gardening, bird watching, the ocean, reading the New York Times cover to cover, an extensive library, and a throng of friends. Alice treasured depth and anima in conversation, spreading candor and warmth, as only a true Mater Familias is able. Sons Robert and Christopher; daughter Victoria; stepchildren
Arica, Melissa, Michael, April; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren survive Alice.
Arrangements entrusted to McDermott-Crockett and Associates Mortuary (805) 569-2424.
