Obituary of Joseph Connolly

79 yrs old of Manchester, England went to Heaven on Monday Jan 19, 2015. He passed away at his home in Santa Barbara of natural causes. Joseph was born on Dec 8th, 1935 to Peter and Mary Connolly of Monaghan, Ireland. He married Doreen Hallett and together they had a daughter Sharon Kathryn Connolly. Sharon was the Light of Joe's Life. Being a Father was the most precious thing to him and it brought him the most joy in Life. He was an extremely devoted and very loving Father. Joe was a Blessing to all of us. He was a True Gift from God. An example to all of us of how to live our lives in Gratitude every day and Love one another Unconditionally. Joe is survived by his daughter Sharon, Matt Russell, Joe's sister Mary, his brothers John, Tony and Kevin. Sister- in laws Maureen, Yvonne, Pam and Joyce. Brother in law Harley. Joe also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins that he Loved dearly and was very proud of. Family and God were the two most important things in Joe's life. He had a Tremendous Faith in God. He was a Man of God who Loved and is Loved. Life is the Greatest Gift God has given us. Death is only a Bridge towards eternal Life with God. Certainly Heaven is rejoicing, for another precious Soul has reached his way home. A funeral service will be held on Friday Jan 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at The Old Mission Santa Barbara. A Rosary service will be held Thursday, January 29, at 7:00 PM at McDermott Crockett Mortuary Chapel, 2020 Chapala St. Santa Barbara, California 93105.
