Obituary of Susan Jackson

Formerly Susan Rosenberg, born Fourteenth November 1959 in Bromley, Kent, died Fourteenth October 2014, in Santa Barbara, California, after a truly heroic battle against breast cancer, peacefully, and surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband Ben Morahan, mother Elizabeth, and sister Caroline with Daniel and John. Services will be held privately. Susan enjoyed a long and highly successful career in independent film distribution, which included founding sales company Turtles Crossing and co-founding Freestyle Releasing, and apart from ignoring glass ceilings, she also thoroughly enjoyed Taos deep skiing, mad dog whispering, tournament tennis playing, cool disco dancing, the Big Island lolling, trying to be captain of everything, and thankfully also loving her devoted husband, Ben, who is really going to miss her. To all her friends, you have the family's fondest condolences. Meanwhile, Susan has taken a steep line down through the trees, and she will just have to wait for the rest of us at the bottom of the mountain. As usual.
