Obituary of Mary Frances Bartron

Mary Frances (Allison) Bartron, loving wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep at 100 years of age on September 4, 2014, at Vista del Monte Retirement Community. She was a long time resident of San Gabriel and more recently Santa Barbara, CA. She was born in Kirksville, Missouri, on April 3, 1914. Mary Frances loved her tennis, golf, swimming and bridge playing well into her late 80s. She was a voracious reader, detailing every book she read for over 50 years. Mary Frances was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Terry Bartron. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Chilton Allison and Kate Dockson. She is survived by her sons Barry and his wife, Kay, Jerry, and Kerry and his wife, Lorie. She is also survived by two son in laws, John Hills and Quinten Beckmann; two grand daughters, Elisa Hills and Jenna Beckmann; as well as two great grandchildren, John Hills, Jr. and Lila Hills. A celebration of her life will be held in October.
