Obituary of Annie Rivera Ruano

Annie Rivera Ruano passed away June 6, 2014. She was born to Joe and Tomasa Rivera on June 18, 1925 in Santa Barbara. Annie worked with her husband on cattle ranches all their married life. She is survived by her siblings Tomasita P. Miller, Leo Rivera (Helen), Eleanor Guevara all of Santa Barbara nieces and nephews. Annie was preceded in death by her husband Henry Ruano, siblings Stanley, T.P., David and Mike Rivera, Catherine Escobar and Josephine Marre. Donations in her memory may be made to the Neil Taylor Nature Center at Cachuma Lake where she volunteered for many years, or to the Visiting Nurses of Santa Barbara. Graveside services will be at Carpinteria Cemetery on Thursday, June 12, at 11:00 A.M.
