Obituary of Sylvia M. Parker

73, of Santa Barbara, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2014. She was born September 25, 1940 in Portsmouth, VA. A resident of Santa Barbara for 52 years, where she worked as a caregiver for many years. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Harry Truman Parker and is survived by her loving son, Burnett Parker and daughter in law Margaret Moten Parker, granddaughter Nikkia Sywon Parker, grandson Robert Burnett T. Parker and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 5th from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at McDermott-Crockett Mortuary, 2020 Chapala Street. Graveside service will take place at the Santa Barbara Cemetery on Thursday June 12th at 1:00 p.m..
