Obituary of Ingrid V. Cracknell

Ingrid Cracknell passed away peacefully at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Feb 25, 2014, shortly before her 93rd birthday. Ingrid was born in Gavle, Sweden to Eric & Mary Anderson. She married Rex Cracknell in Leicester, England during his tour with the Royal Air Force during WWII. They settled in Santa Barbara in 1965. Ingrid had a long career with Sears and was active in the Santa Barbara Women's Club. Ingrid was preceded in death by Rex Cracknell, her husband of 72 years, and survived by her 3 children, Terry Cracknell (Norfolk,Va), John Cracknell(Beaumont, TX) and Linda Walters(Santa Barbara), along with 4 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. The family will have a private ceremony to celebrate the life & memories of Ingrid. Arrangements Entrusted to McDermott-Crockett Mortuary
