Obituary of Virginia De Armon
In loving memory of Virginia (Ginny) De Armon of Santa Barbara, who passed
away peacefully December 11, 2013.
Born in Buffalo, NY. Ginny earned her teaching degree from National Teachers College in Evanston, IL. Ginny moved to California in 1945 to begin her teaching career in Redlands. In 1950, Ginny moved to Santa Barbara, where she taught at Montecito Union School until retiring in 1985.
Ginny was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles E. De Armon, and is survived by her 2 daughters, Candice Nagel (Edward) Schloeder, and Melinda Nagel (Herb) Huddleston, 2 grandsons Alex & Leith Huddleston, and 2 granddaughters Laura & Lisa Schloeder.
Ginny will be remembered most for her wonderful smile and will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday January 5, 2013 at the Santa Barbara Golf Club from 3 to 6 PM. 3500 Mc Caw Ave, Santa Barbara, CA 93105
