Obituary of Rosie Le Boeuf

The daughter of Maria (Zocchi) and Ernest Rossibertolli, Rosie graduated from Santa Barbara HighSchool in 1942. She met her husband Ted (USMC) at the USO in Santa Barbara and they were married in July 1946. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Ted, daughters Roseann Achee (grandson Michael) and Antoinette Sanderson. A supportive and caring mother, Rosie enjoyed dancing for many years with 'Las Fiestaras ' during Fiesta at the Old Mission and Courthouse. A very proud 'native Santa Barbaran', Rosie decided in May 2011, it was time to move to Ventura to be near the rest of her family. In addition to working at Safeway part time, Rosie was also a member of the 'Modern Mother's Club since 1950. This group was particularly proud of bringing non perishable food to each meeting for their large contribution to the 'Council of Christmas Cheer" which is now known as The Unity Shoppe. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Belitski., 5 grandchildren, their spouses and 5 great grandchildren; Danny and Anna (Dylan and Drayden) Belitski, Brian and Stephanie (Taylor Jane) Belitski; Laura Achee and Chris, (Hazel and June) Mark Achee and Cameron Sanderson. Mass will be at Holy Cross Church, Cliff Dr., Santa Barbara, Monday, April 15, 2013 10:00 a.m. Fr. Ludo officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in Rosie's memory to The Unity Shoppe, 1219 State St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101 or a favorite charity of your choice.
