Obituary of Michael C. Mirk

Michael C. Mirk, 92, of Los Osos, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013. Michael was predeceased by his loving wife Gertrude and is survived by two sons, R. Patrick Mirk (Vivian) of Tampa, FL, Jeffrey W. Mirk (Kathy) of Monument, CO, two daughters, Sharman West of Van Nuys, CA, and Dale C.E. Huston (William) of Denville, NJ, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. After serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII, he received his law degree from Rutgers University and practiced law in New Jersey and California. The family wishes to express their thanks to Michael and Gertrude’s many friends and neighbors at Daisy Hill, who provided kindness and friendship during their retirement years.
