Obituary of Patricia Panzitta

74 of Santa Barbara, CA and formerly of Nutley passed away on January 9, 2013. Born in Carbondale, PA she lived in Nutley before moving to California 20 years ago. Mrs. Panzitta was a teller and floor manager at Security National Bank in Nutley. Later, she worked as a caregiver and aide at Valle Verde Senior Living in Santa Barbara. Daughter of the late Harold and Charlotte (Schermerhorn) McDonough and dear sister to the late, Robert, Harold, Chuck, Donald, Bernard and Joseph McDonough, she is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Panzitta, her children, MaryLynn DePierro, Mark and Toby Gilhool, Patricia and Paul Benvenuti, Paul and Ruth Gilhool, her stepchildren, Joseph and Darlene Panzitta, Karen and Richard Miller and Steven and Kim Panzitta. She also leaves her grandchildren, Katey and Daniel Marra, Andrew Watts, Carl, Jonathan and Justin Lordi, Jack and Matthew Gilhool, Kieran and Ronan Gilhool and Grace Panzitta, her brother, Jack McDonough and her sister, Judy Larkin. Relatives and friend will be received at the S.W. Brown and Son Funeral Home (www.swbrownandson.com), 267Centre St. Nutley on Wednesday from 4-8 pm. A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 am followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
