Obituary of Davis Isbell

Davis Isbell, who was a familiar sight around town, and before that, with his mom, Berniece, at the Mission or at a local coffee shop every Friday night, has passed on to a better life. He had attended Alpha Resource Center for almost 32 years. He loved Alpha, the Amigos, and many other friends. Failing, he has missed Alpha for the past year or so. He leaves his sisters, Carol Weldy Spalluto and Janice Isbell Romero and their families. Brothers, Ronald Charles Isbell, William Isbell and Jack Isbell, their families, and cousin, Nancy Hickman King. He will be missed for his ready smile, gentleness and sense of humor. The family wishes to thank Assisted Home Hospice for making his last few days comfortable. Great thanks and our respect go to Casa Naomi II and especially to his friend and chief caretaker, Sammy Ramirez. A simple graveside service was held to honor his passing. In his memory, gifts may be made to Alpha Resource Center.
