Obituary of Russell Brill

Russell M. Brill, 69, of Santa Barbara, CA, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at his residence at Villa Santa Barbara. Russ is survived by his daughter, Alexa Jones, son-in-law, Jeffrey Jones, and grandson, Dillon Jones. His passions included aerospace, blues music, and theatre. He worked as a computer engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA for 18 years until his retirement in 1998. He was a graduate of the California Institute of Technology where he earned a degree in Physics in1965. Russ will be remembered fondly as a generous, intellectual gentleman of strong character and sharp wit. Visitation will be held at McDermott- Crockett and Associates Mortuary at 2020 Chapala Street, Santa Barbara, on Friday, January 11th from 4pm to 6pm.
